THEATRE CHANGES HANDS.

I"' . FAREWELL PROGRAMME. Mr A. F. Jauneey, after nine months as pic nire proprietor in Otaki, has decided to sell to Mr Erie Morse, late of Napier, and on Saturday night will give a farewell programme, when Miss Marjorie Vause, a singer and dancer of note, will take a prominent part. This young lady will sing “ Alice Bluegown” (in costume) from the comic opera “Irene,” and will also give exhibitions of fancy dancing, etc. There will be no extra charge. It is hoped there will be a crowded house and appreciation shown of Mr Jauneey’s efforts to provide first-class pictures in the past, , Mr Jauneey has done a lot to improve the picture business and has been keen on pleasing his many patrons. •
