County Chairman at Saturday's meeting in regard to the bridges on the main trunk toad is coniinuejl. Kara Creek Bridge Shannon , .. £3OO Waikawa Stream Bridge £6OO Kawiu-Fo.\ton Hoad . £3OO I Otaki Gorge Hoad and extension £l5O | Waikawa Beach Uoad ... £2OO | A grant of £2OO is made ior tiie J Height; Hoad extension. A sum of I £l5O granted last year lor Tokomaru is I re-instated, a.s also is £IOO for Waika.nae Hiver protective works. Two Levin votes are £175 for renovations to the pplioe station and £450 lor alterations and additions to the Post Office. The fatter sum was voted last year and not, expended. A sum of £ISOO voted last year 'or a police station at Paekakariki and riot expended is re-instated this year. The sum ol £125 voted last year lor a post office site at Ohau and not i spent is not renewed, neither is £6OO j voted for a cow-shed at the Central j Development Farm in 1921 and not ex- j pended. a sum oi £;>io is put on the Estimates for buildings taken over By the Department at the Farm from the Repatriation Department. A sum of £250 is reinstated from last year for water supply at the Farm.
