OTAKI-TARARUA TRACK.
TO BE IMPROVED. Mr W. H. Field, M.P., has received the following letter, which speaks, for itself:— "Dear Sir, With further reference to my letter of the 18th instant. 1 have looked into the matter of a subsidy for the purpose of erecting a central hut on the Tararua track, and understand thai the Public Works' Department have made provision for £IOO on this year's estimates for improvements to the track. Under the circumstances. I have referred the correspondence to Hon. the Minister for Public Works for his favourable consideration. Yours faithfully, (Signed) W.
