PROPOSED OTAKI RIVER DISTRICT. )XJESUANT to Section 6 of "The River Boards Act, 1908," NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the petition, particulars of which are horeunder written, will be presented to HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR GENERAL at tho expiration of one month from the dato hereof, praying for tho constitution of a RIVER DISTRICT, to be known as the OTAKI RIVER DISTRICT. The above proposed River Hstrict comprises an area of 3,52acres; more or less, situated partly in the Horowhenua County and partly in the Borough of Otaki. The District embraces lands on both banks of the Otaki River, and the boundaries arc approximately as follows: Commencing at, and including Part Section 10 and Waihoauga Part IA, Block 4, Kaitawa, the boundary runs in a North-westerly direction by the South-western boundary of lot 3, Waihoanga 18, to the point of its intersection with tho Rahui Road, thence along tho Rahui Road to the Railway line at the Rahui Dairy Company's Factory, thence along the Railway lino in a South-westerly direction to a point opposite the Waerenga Road, thence towards the sea, taking in several properties in tho Kaingaraki Block, and striking the boundary of the previously existing Town District of Otaki, it. follows that boundary until the Western boundary of the Old Race-course is reached, when it crosses the Otaki River in a Southerly direction, and taking in all tho properties occupied by .Mr F. .T. Ryder, inns in an Easterly direction fo the overhead bridge over the Main Trunk Railway line. The boundarv runs thence alon" the Hauproperty of Mr G. 11. Harper, and eventually striking the main Hautere Road at the corner of Mr William Fielding's property.
