RIFLE SHOOTING.
WHAREROA CLUB. Tlie Wiia re nut Rifle Club fired its first trophy shoot on Saturday last at ranges 500 and COO yards, when Air E. Lynch’s trophy was competed for. Rifleman S. Batten, who was the successful, shut, put on SC under adverse conditions. On Saturday the club commenced its first shoot for the Cordukes Cup at ranges 200 and 300 yards.
