The ladies’ last bogey competition for the season was won by Miss M. Swabey. one up. and the men’s by Sievers, 2 up on the Colonel.
Next Saturday the annual mixed foursomes will be played. It will be a medal round of eighteen holes. Competitors may choose their partners, and both will drive from the men's tees. Fur the semi-finals for the men's championship Grey just got home from Sicvers. both playing the course in S 6 strokes. Wills succeeded in defeating D’Ath: iii this ease also the scores were equal, each of them taking SI. Wills and Grey will play the final round of 36 hole- on Saturday and a great struggle should ensue. Wills drives a very long ball, and has greatly improved his game recently. He is a very determined match player. Grey’s longer experience and accuracy in approaching and putting will balance his opponents longer shots.
