Sister Lewis writes from Panama to friends in Otaki to say she i; well, and had a pleasant trip.
Mr G. H. M. McClure, who is a candidate for the Otaki seat, was among the visitors to Otaki yesterday. Mr M. O’Brien, who for the past eighteen years has been H-ealth Officer for the Manuwatu district, has retired on superannuation, from the end of August. Miss Twist, daughter of Mr aud Mrs Twist, of Otaki, was successful in passing her senior musical examination, held recently at Palmerston X. Miss Twist expects to take up residence at Otaki at an early date.
