WERAROA ESCAPEES.
CAPTURED AT TE HORO. Three Weraroa farm boys made good their escape from the Pa rut last night and this morning were seen at To Iloro minus boots, stockings, and hats. They entered the shop of Mr Wise, who treated the lads kindly, but they hurriedly left leaving their blankets behind They made towards the hills with a party in hot pursuit, and an hour or so later they were captured on Mr W. Baker’s farm. The lads, alter making their break, walked all the way to To Horo, and on their way. it is stated, entered the Manakau Hotel and stole a rug. The lads have been sent back to the farm.
