Mr McGill, senr., was present, and said certain owners were draining their land and the drainage was running on iiis son's property. Last season his son had lost a considerable amount owing to his grass seed being de.-itoyed by the water coming on to Hie land, and the same tiling would happen again. Broadbelt, as a member for the riding, said if the Council was iosponsible it should do something to assist, but a drainage board should be formed.
