The men's four-ball competition on Saturday was keenly contested, and all] the pairs succeeded in beating bogey, j The best cards returned were "Higginson and St. George 11 up, D'Ath And Dr. Sharp S up. O'Rourke and Atrnore 7 up. The winners played a very good round; they were never more than one stroke over bogey at any hole, and suc«eeued in "beating the bogey score at three holes -without handicap. On Wednesday Levin -""ill send a team to Otaki. The following are requested to be ut the links at a quarter t ' o two: —Mrs W. M. Simcox. Mrs R. D'Ath. Miss Quill, Miss Brandon, and Miss Bennett, Messrs O'Ruurke, Wills, Atrnore (eapt.). Slack. St. George. G. Lethbridge, Joplin. Blackburne, Irving, and Dr. Sharp. It will be a general tea day. Two cards were returned after the box was cleared for the last ladies' meday play competitions. One of these, Miss Booth, showed a net score of 62. wh& won the prize. Mis? Booth played quite a brilliant rouud up to the last few holes and no doubt now she has -truck form will keep her name on the winning list.
