LICENSED VICTUALLERS' CUP. A mooting of tho Horowhenua Rugby Dnion was held at Lovin lust liiglit. Present: Messrs Thomson (chairman), Be vim, Dixon, Percy, Father Vibaud, .1,1,1 Cnrmichae] (secretary). A letter was read from the Otaki Club protesting against Porirua's win for tho Licensed Victuallers' cup on Saturday, it being stated that Otaki was set down to play Levin Wanderers, and that tho Secretary of the Otaki Club had received uo notification from the Union to play Porirua. As the Levin team did not arrive it was agreed to play a friendly game with Porirua, but as they had been told by Mr Parker that the Ciißiii would be for tho cup the match had been played under protest, Mr
Cnrmiflmcl denied that he had given jfr Parker authority to arrange cup matches, except the match between Old Boys and Otaki. ft was decided to uphold the protest HiiJ to point out that Porirua could not compote for the cup, it being only upon for junior teams in the Horowhenua I'niou. It was resolved that the final for the cup be played next Saturday between Otaki and Levin Rovers, and that Mr Burrows be referee.
