Katana and hi* followers passed through Otaki yesterday on tlieir waynorth after a visit to Waikanue. Mrs A. K. Anderson, for many years a resident of Otaki. is now on a visit to friends in this district. Mrs Byron Brown, who has been in indifferent health lor some time, intends to spend a. few weeks at Wuiknnae. The funeral of the late Mr holm Gleeson took place at Manakau on Wednesday. when a number of friends attended.
