OTAKI THEATRE.

TO-NIUHT. “THE UNKNOWN WIFE.” The story runs as follows:--Donald, just released from jail, goes to Camsdenville, six hours out of Hew York, and boards with Helen Wilburton, who is unaware of his past. Helen used to work in the local felt factory, but her father becomes ill, and she leaves the factory to take in boarders. Donald is in town to lay the plan for a robbery of the felt factory but under the gentle influence of Helen, he abandons his plans, much to the displeasure ot his two confederates. Later, Helen’s father dies. Donald marries Helen, and tkev go to Hew York. Uounded by the police Donald finds it hard to get work, so Helen secures a position as secretary to Mrs Stanwood-Kcnt, a wealth" woman, whose nephew, John Mayberry, a prominent lawyer, lives with her, John is attracted by Helen’s beautv. and one day. knowing that she is married, takes the liberty of callitig at her address. He is astounded when Donald alias “The Kid” whom he ha(l assisted in sending to prison, answered

the door. Helen confesses that she is married, and the two men exchange glances but Mayberry does not expose Donald. Then follow .some interesting episodes whrch must be seen to be appreciate'!. “LURE OF THE CIRCUS.” An exhibition of strength that "ill make motion picture patrons gasp in amazement is given by Eddie Hole, star of “The Lu c of the Circus,” the sensational serial of circus life and big business which will be shown at the theatre to-night it; conjunction with the above picture. to-morrow night. “BITS OF LIFE.” “Bits Of Life” is the star at the theatre to-morrow night. This picture is one that offers a new idea in the art of the silent drama. “Bits of Life’ presents the- »horf story magazine idea on the screen in a manner never before attempted. Each story has a differem tvpe of plot, the first episode dihclosins a satire, the second a comedy-drama J the third a melo-drama. and the fourth j a farce which is expected to send tbt patrons away with a laugh.
