OUR LIBRARY.

To the Editor. Air.-—While admitting that our Borough finances are low I must agree w ith '‘Kotiident ” that help should Ixive been forthcoming for our library- really a valuable institution, supported only. unfortunately, by a few of our ratepayers. The number of subscriber* would be considerably swelled if more up-to-date books were on the shelves, and it should be the aim id a local body to improve matters. Why such Councillors as wc possess turned down the grant is a conundrum —surely “they” in least are subscriber.*. They should support deserving institution* and find less fault with the ranger >rA othei -uiall matter?. -I am. etc.. HEADER.
