Dr. Pomare will bo among the visitors to Waikauae on Saturday, July 15 when he will be royally entertained.

Mr F. T. Wilton, who has been on a trip to Tarauaki and Wairarapa, returned to Otaki on Wednesday evening.

Mr A. E. Minton, who ha* been visiting Roloruu for the past three weeks for health reasons, returned to Otaki last evening, much better for the change.

Mr and Mrs Mclntyre, who have been residents of Levin for many years, were entertained on Wednesday by a large gathering of friends and presented with a handsome illuminated address. During the evening songs, etc., were rendered. Mr and Mrs Mclntyre shortly leave to take up resideu«e in Wellington.
