' Demos has disne well since the Otaki meeting and is doing attractive worh at Awapuni. He is engaged in the principal events at Trentham next ' month. Calma, who met with slight injuries while contesting Vke H.B. Steeplechase, is all right again, and is doing strong work at Awapuni. Her next outing will be in the Wellington Steeplechase, in which C. McChesncy will probably have the mcunt. Tussore is doing useful wsrk at Awapuni. J Kelly has him looking ■well.
Passionless is in good condition. Her track work suggests that a race will come her way shortly. The Advance mare Equitas is t» be mated next .season with Mr J. B. Kcid's imported horse, Paper Money. Equitas, I who is the dam of the ?s T ew Zealand Cup winner, Oratress, has two rapre- j scntatives at Kiccavton, a yearling colt by Sunny Lake and * filly foal by Martian.
