CROQUET.
The Otaki Croquet Club held a mm-t enjoyable euchre tournament in the Druids’ Hall on Wednesday nightThere was a splendid attendance, and a pleasant time was spent. The ladief prize was won by Mrs Nicolxou, v.ke defeated Mrs Cook by one game, while the gents’ trophy was won by Mr Hen.trick, who played off with Mr Freddie Edwards. Mrs Freeman won the consolution, after a play-off with Mrs Erkell and Mrs -Albert Smith, while Mr Pickup won the “booby” prize. A competition, organised by Mrs Bills a trophy given by Miss Baker, was was by Mrs Nash. Supper proved a pleading part of the programme.
