FOOTBALL DANCE.

—* ——- j The Hui Mai Football Club’s dance, I held in. the Manakau Town Hall on .Wednesday night, was a great success, there being a large gathering, includ- t ing visitors from Otuki and .Levin. Thu music, supplied by Misses William- , son, of Levin, was hrst-elass, tho floor j and supper arrangements were all that i could be desired, while the decorations j were much admired. Messrs H. G. Bry- j ant and W. Bevan were efficient M’s. C.., while Mr It. Creed was an energetic secretary. The decorations were supervised by Mr Gibson, while Mesdames O’Connor, Creed, H. G. Bryant and Walshaw deserve kudos for services | rendered. During the evening Major i Tatum made a line speech, which was replied by Mr W. Dalzell on behalf oi the Club.
