*>— — A fancy dress bail will be held in the Otaki theatre on Monday night next, uheo it i> fully expected, i'rom the great interest being evinced, that the gathering will be both large and brilliant. Many have secured novel and unique costumes, and as prizes tire offered—to be decided by popular vote — there should be good competition. The hall is to be effectively lighted., and many colored lights will bo used, while lite dress circle will lie open to 11011dancers at the low price of Is. Supper will be provided, tip-top i.iusic will be in evidence, while the floor will be Lighly polished.
