Ethel IT. Dell, novelist, married Col- ; one! ."savage, her neighbour, at Guildford. The ceremony was performed secretly, at 8 o’clock in the morning. Air Allan Roxburgh, fit one time g, well-known resident of Otaki, is at present seriously ill it; the Wellington hospital. Mr Percy Bennett, manager of the Rahui factory at Otaki. has resigned to take up a yiosition with the Otaki Dairy Company. Mr Bennett has been with the Rahui Company for some vears, during which ho has proved a capable manager. Mr and Mrs E. J. Kilmister, of Otaki. leave this week on a holiday tour of the Auckland district. Owing to the illness of Constable Satherley Constable Greggan. of Lej vin. is relieving at Otaki.
