SHANNON BRIDGE.
A letter was road from the Khnnnou Borough Council by the Manawatu County C-oun'-il on Tuesday, stating that the formei body had appointed tin Mayor a,,d engineer to interview the Minister of Bui,lie Works regarding the maintenance of the Shannon bridge, with n '. iewjo compelling local bodies interested to contribute in equitable proportion- to this urgent work. Thi. Council was invited to "end delegate's. together with the Foxton -and Shannon Borough Councils, and the Horowhenuf County Council, to interview the Minister on June 3.1.
