MANAKAU TELEPHONE.
!To the Editor. Sir. —1 remember seeing something in ■ your paper re the above exchange—a ( useless tiling as it now stands—and beg I to be supported in a proposal that a I meeting be called and a move made to ' become part and parcel of Otaki. As: I it is now we are neither use nor orna- ! ment, and will never get better facilities. Te Horo, on the other hand, has ! just linked up, has a servi.ee from 7 ' a.m. to 11 p.m.. and free to ring Otaki. 'We have a miserable service among about 20 subscribers, hours 'J a.m. to 5 p.m., and pay every time we ring Otaki. Who was to blame J know not. but I say let's remedy it. Now, Mayor Andrew, wake up and give us a lead. —I am. etc.. TLNGA-LING.
