e Mi and Mrs F. G. Davies, of Otaki. will be competitors at the Wellington competitions to be held shortly. Mi A. K. Minton, who has been in indifferent health for some time, leaves ■: ily next week for liotorua. Mr .1 ohn Barclay. ex-Cluiirman of tin- Butt County Council, has been uppo nted a Justice of the Peace. Mr Coleman, of Wellington, is at present on the Fleet oral Department stall at Otaki. He started his duties to-day. Constable Cole, a popular Palmerston X. officer and who will be remembered as being on relief duty here, is at present renewing acquaintance with his many friends.
