The Otaki meeting i? being looked forward to with interest, and if lino weather prevails the best: of sport will result. Visitor? are expected from all quarters, and as the train arrangements are suitable the Club should have a highly successful meeting. The innovation of a ten shilling “tote” promises to be popular. A local owner, who recently visited Blenheim, secured £lO in stake money. After paying expenses lie was £.j out . of pocket. ! Horses for the Otaki meeting are arriving daily and the course each day j presents an animated appearance.
