Tho Otaki team wore all at sea on the long fiat holes in Palmerston on (Saturday, and suffered defeat at the hands of the Manawatu players by nine games to one. This player is still improving her game, and will be a hard competitor to defeat in the championships this season, Many visitors are enjoying off days on our* links this winter, and the Club is collecting quite a good sum in green fees. Heard outside the pavilion recently: Visitor, taking his clubs from tke caddy: “Worst round I kavo ever played!’’ Caddy: “Oli, you have played before, Sir?”
