\ Church-Warden'u Report. Mr St. George (Church Warden) presented his report as follows:—"-In presenting the report' and balance-sheets of the various church funds we take i this opportunity of thanking- you for electing' us as your representatives. We I are more than pleased to report a very I steady advance in church finances, as I I'oJlowing rough analysis will show. I The Stipend assessment has been sent in to the Diocesou treasurer regular]". This amounts as you know to £3OO a f year. All Saints' general offertories ) amounted to £IBB, being an increase of [£3 13s over our previous best your. \ Special offertories totalled £49 15s Id, i being 27s less than last, while special > subscriptions amounted to £ls 15s Gd, • being an increase of £l4 -is 6d. Stipend subs, totalled £B2 Ss, showing an increase of £3 Ss. Giants from Junior Mission Guild, £1 for books, and All | Saints' Ladies' Guild. £l3 for church cleaning were very much appreciated. These amounts will be applied to their specific purposes. Manakau and Te Horo sub. districts have contributed !£l2B 15s towards Stipend and motor I cycle expenses, in same proportion as ! last year. Manakau £7O 7s 6d, Te Horoj : £SB 7s Od. The envelope system or 'church offertories has been well main-, : mined, the receipts being a few pence ahead of last, namely £97 17s 6d, or on I an average of £1 17s 6d a Sunday, be-j sides which there is the sum of £l3 13s ' fid outstanding. We owe our special thanks to the envelope secretary, Mr W. Best, for the success of this fund. On the debit side our general overhead expenditure was very much heavier than last. General expenses come to £7O 10s lid against last year's very light total of £39 ISs 2d, being an increase of £3O ISs 9d. This increased expenditure is accounted for under the following three heads:' lighting £2O ISs Id, organ tuning £lO 13s, and printing £8 Lis (id. a total of over £4O against last year's modest sum of £lO Is, Tinmotor cycle upkeep ran into just about the same as last year, namely £lO 19s 3d, back expenses and £-10 annual grant, a total of £SO 10s 3d. The general church fund to March'3lst, 1922, shows fi credit balance of £SO Us (id. and the vicarage fund a credit of £ll2 19s 7d, a total of £lO3 Us Id. To the vicarage fund the Otaki Ladies' Guild has given £OO 15s Gd. Manakau sub. district J-:i,-> 15s, Te Horo £ls 15s, making with ' last year's credit (£-8 l'is 6d) £l3O Is > lid. while the expenses amount to £l7j 2s M. The motor cycle fund shows a J debit of 7s 3d for the year. We would J suggest that ncsr assessment for this ; fund be. Otaki £l6 7s sd ; Manakau £ll 17? 6d, Te Horo £ll 17s 6d. total £lO 7s od. We wish to specially thank the members of All Saints' Ladies' Guild for their splendid quota towards the fund for renovating and painting the vicarage, and also for their generous grant towards church cleaning. The various trust funds banked in the G.P. O. Sa\ings Bank are the new church feud, £l7O lis Gd, the poor fund £ls Is j 9d, the Ruth Swabey prize fund £26. j back interest on old vicarage account £7 10< ikl. total £225 9s lOd. The above fund, have earned us £23 15s in interest since lodging in P.O. Savings \

Bank. The credit balance at Bank of Australasia to March 31st was £167 lis 7d less unpresented cheque £1 0s J3d.— £lO3 lis Id, with £228 9s lOd trust fund- in G.S. Bank, total £302 0? lid. Our liabilities are:—-Church schools (sub.) £2. social service (subs.) £3 12s, total £3 12s. Ladies and gentlemen, as.there are several very important matters corning up for discussion to-night. we must not weary you further. In conclusion we thank you heartily for your aide assistance and financial support, and are pleased to report all funds in a healthy condition. The Churchwardens and vestry wish to thank our vi.-ar, lay-readers, organists, and all those good church workers who were responsible for the smooth running of all branches of church work throughout the year.—Signed for the vestry L.
