At the parishioners' meeting on Mottday night Miss No Hand's report on the junior Missionary Guild wis na Col "Tlu: junior Guild met every Thursc>ns with an average attendance i>!' ninci, chile on the last Thursday in each month Sister Lewis gave lectures on firs! aid and home nursing. We had visits trom three Missionaries, Missis Gniiisford, Stinson and Ogio. The girls were greatly interested and en-jo..-oil hearing about the girls in Lidis mul China. On the 1.1 th of August wc had ;i small sale which "as very sue cessful. we raising £2l. We are sup porting u bible woman in China, tint! also helping with the new school rooms lit the C.M.S. College (Ceylon). This year we have started well with an attendance of 15 each Thursday, and we tire busy preparing for our sale again, which we hope to hold in August. The junior Guild had the sweets stall til the Church bazaar in October last, and by that means raised just on £5. They in- j tend helping again this year also." Miss Lee, secretary of the senior Mission Guild, reported: ' 'The result of sales in September and April totalled .I'll It's Id. money boxes £-17 2s 2d, total iSV Is <xl; money forwarded to , N.Z.B.M. £73 13s lid, Melanesia", depot , £2 10's tid, expenses AM- 7s Oil. cash in ( hand £S9 2s lUd. The Guild has under- . taken to pay £3O per annum towards , the salary of Native doctor in Dr. J Strange's hospital in China and £lO for j support of scholars in Melanesia. Tbis £-|o has been paid, leaving a balance of ( £33 I".> ltd paid into the general funds of N.Z.8.M." E
