The Institute a.sked the Council to support the pioposal in a communication to the Hailway Department. Cr. McLeavey: A very good idea. Cr. If i; were delayed two hour?. it tvould be suitable 'ot people doing business in Wellington to get back home at a convenient hour. Cr Harkness moved that Council support the proposal. This was carried unanimously. Cr. Ryder; Make the motion as strong as possible.' Mr Chairman. A copy of the motion is to be sent to Mr Newman. JJ.P..
