ICELAND'S BARGAIN WITH SPAIN. Wellington, May 0. in connection with a recent cable ■ announcing- the repeal of Iceland's i prohibition law in regard to wines I the New Zealand Alliance has receiv- j ed a cable from the International Temperance Bureau ar Lausanne. dated May 8, as follows: "Iceland is obliged for one year to admit wins under *l per rent alcohol." This admission of wines is stated to be :n conformity with ft demand made by i Spain on the expiration of a treaty with Iceland, whereunder she took an ; important quantity of Iceland's fish. I Spain refused to renew the Treaty an- ' iess Iceland would repeal her prohibi- j tion law and admit Spanish wines Iceland had not previously imported wines from Spain, even before she ' adopted prohibition. j
