OTAKI'S AMBULANCE.
In answer to Cr. Coskrell at the Bor- -E ough Council meeting on Wednesday - the Clerk stated no answer had been received from the Palmerston N. Hospital Board relative to the ambulance I van. The Mayor said there was some £l4O in hand, and considered with the sale ( of the van, and Government subsidy, n _ good sum would he available, to be ' utilised for building a maternity ward ' at the Otaki hospital.
