COMMUNITY CLUB.

* Members of the Blue Triangle Community Club met at the Y.M.O.A. buildings last night to indulge in social intercourse, and a very pleasant evening was passed. The proceedings opened with a competition arranged by Mrs Nicolson. This provided good fun and Miss Reece was adjudged the winner. The debate, arranged by Mrs Jopliri, was, however, the chief feature of the evening's entertainment. The subject chosen was "Should Girls Work in Offices," taken from an employers' point of view and also from a girl's stand point. Mis- Joan Low ry and Mis' Erica Neilson ably favored the affirmative, while Miss Beatrice Keali and Miss Joan Pereival just as ably spoke against. A vote was taken at the conclusion, and the latter couple received tho verdict by two votes. Miss Lee then delivered a fine scriptural add res.-, which '.vas listened to with great interest. During the evening Mrs Stahle ably presided. The next "evening" te being looked forward to with interest.
