OLD BOYS v. OTAKI.

This match—a championship fixture —will be played on tho domain on Saturday. and a fast and interesting game should result. Both sides are in good playing fettle, and the game, no doubt, will be fought out in a sportsmanlike spirit. It is hoped that the general public will attend and give support, and at the same time give every assistance for a good, clean game. The Union, now on a firm footing, is desirous of promoting sport, and it behoves all to assist them. Last season we had » certain amount of ill-feeling which it is hoped has now boen sunk for all time.

A leading football enthusiast, who witaeesed the Paraparaumu-Otaki match on Saturday, called on tho writer, and took excepting to the remark* made by tho Chairman at the Otaki meeting on Saturday night.
