GRAND CONCERT
The grand concert, to be given bj members of the above Society at tin theatre on Thursday, should draw i largo audience, especially as a first class programme is to bo submitted Cowen’s Cantata, “Rose Maiden" should prove a pleasing Hem, uni should appeal to all. Half the pro ceeds will be given to the local benen lent fund, which was started hi! Christmas when a Xmas tree was gives. Money raised was donated for Otaki and deposited in the Bank for parent! and children in poor circumstances, »B that had to be done to socurd a shsrt being by application to a Minister, Mayor, or Town Clerk when the east was investigated. It is now intended to supplement this amount and tH Choral Society is to be commended for its action. It is hoped all who ear will assist, and at the same time «t----jey themselves.
