RANGER’S REPORT. G. Wiiiterburn (ranger) reports: — “1 have the honor to report that fui the month ending March tilst., I impounded seven head of stock and released 22 on the payment of my driving fees. I beg to report further that the roads are fairly free from wandering stock.” Pound-Keeper’s Report. Yv. During the mouth b- yards of metal were put on Mill Road and grass has been mown on Rauparaha Road path, and a hitching post erected at the Dost Oiiice. 1 would suggest that larger pipes be pm in the creek at ALoutere House, as the willow roots block the present ones, i have on hand 2o barrels of tar, and five of sand.”
