PARCEL POST.

From 3rd November the following rates are to be charged on inland parcels: —For first 11b or fraction thereof, 6d; for each succeeding 11b, or fraction thereof, up to and including 101 b, 2d; for each 11b, or fraction thereof, beyond 101 b up to 261 b, Id. The postage rates applicable to an 111 b parcel are to be charged on all parceb (except parcels containing fishing rods, golf sticks or similar articles) that weigh less than 111 b if such parcels exceed 4 feet length and girth combined. A fragile rate of 6d is to bo charged on all inland parcels that do not exceed 4 feet length and girth combined, and of 9a on those that exceed 4 feet ’ r, ngth and girth combined' which the senders desire forwarded to destination in hampers. The fragile fees, however, do not apply to parcels containing fishing rods, golf sticks, or similar articles that exceed 3 feet 6 inches in length.
