FARMERS' SCHOOL.

SYLLABUS OF LECTURES, The complete syllabus lias now jeen prepared by Mr YV. J. McCulioch, manager of the Cemrai Development Farm, of the course of instruction to be Imparted to farmers attending the school to be opened on the farm on Monday, April "24. H shows that the four days and part of the fifth will be fully occupied. On the Monday evening the school will be formally opened, and among those who have signified their intenUou of being present are Mr \V. H. Field, M.P., Mr 1). \Y. Mathesou, Mayor of Levin, ami Dr. Heakes, Director ')/ -Agriculture. it is hoped that the Hon. .Mr Noswortliy may also (mil time to lie present. Immediately afterwards there will be a lecture on herd testing by Mr Singleton, of the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture, ami at 8 o'clock next morning- work will start again and be ijontinued until y o'clock at night, and so on until Friday night. On Saturday morning it is expected that most of those present, especially those who have come from a distance, will be departing, so, in order that farmers may have an opportunity of ex-

changing views and expressing opinions on Hie value of the lessons learnt, a smoke concert will be held on the Friday evening as a wind-up to the school.
