Mr A. G. Williams, of the Waikaaae Co-op. .Store, died last night. Mr Watson, S.M., Feiiding, Trill preside at the next fitting of the Court at Otaki. Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., has l-fr Palmerston North for Auckland, where his wedding takes place neit week. Dr. Paterson 'late of Otaki) hat been re-elected president of tho Pahie.tua branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association. Mr Rikihana Carkeek, who recently had a revere fall, has made good progress towards recovery, but his injury is still painful. Mr H. C. Stable, who was injured last week through an accident. is making good progress. He hopes to resume business next week The Levin "Chronicle" understand" that Mr W. Murdoch, Mayor of Shannon, will contest the Manawatu sea* in the Liberal interest, and that Labour will be represented by Mr F. W. Wnibley, of Foxton.
