This subject in "The Master Alind,” an adaption of the play of the same name by Daniel G. Carter. It affords the star with abundant opportunities to display hi - remarkable histrionic skill. Ho portrays a vengeful figure who conceives the plan to defeat his worst enemy because of the latter’s heartlessness in , sending his brother to the electric chair. How liis plans mature, and how he is eventually defeated is told in action of tense dramatic moments. The picture is a triumph for the star.

Tn "The Big Town Round-Up,” tho attraction announced by the Otaki theatre to be slwwn on Thursday night, Tom Mix. the popular Fox star, appears as a young ranchman of Arizona who falls in love with a society belle—and of course wins her. But he wing only after a series of stirring adventures and narrow escapes that are said to hold the spectator spellbound throughout. .
