THE CAUSE OF CONSTIPATION. Th* most common cause of constipation is a lack of exercise necessary to keep tic- muscles of the bowel; active. That is why constipation is often brought on by too frequent use of purgatives. They act violently, perforating the work of the bowels for them, and so weaken them that they trill not act without assistance. Chamberlain’s Tablets will relieve constipation because instead of doing the work of the bowels thc-y gently stimulate them to voluntary action.
