SPORTING MEETING.
The sports meeting to be held on the Otaki race-course on Saturday, April loth, under the auspices of the Otaki Amateur Athletic Club, should be largely attended while the various events should be keenly contested. Competitors for the cluunpionship events arc expected from far and near, and as first-class athletes will be taking part the public will be well rewarded for their attendance. The track is being specially prepared by Mr List, caretaker, while Mr J: M. Irving, secretary, is putting in a deal of work in other ways. The Committee meet on Tuesday when matters in general will be dis-
cussed. The programme of events is publish ed in our advertising columns.
