RIFLE SHOOTING.
WHAREROA CLUE
The Whareroa Rifle Club held its shoot at ranges 900 and 1000 yards on Saturday last, and as a result of the extraordinary changes m the wrn “clean targets” were numerous. Deputy President C. Dowsett was top scorer, with Rifleman L. Cordukes as runner-up. Following are^he-res :_
The Club hopes to arrange a 12-man--3 aide match with Hautere on Saturday next at ranges 500 and 600 yards on the "Whareroa range.
HAUTERE CLUB.
On Saturday last members of the Hautere Rifle Club fired -10 shots at 800 yards in the sth round of the Belt and Taylor'Cup. The weather top for good shooting. Tic Cottle was top scorer for the day with 44.
