Mr Hoffman, senr., late of the Telegraph Hotel, Otaki. is at present on a visit to the township combining business. with pleasure. He is at present staying at the seaside. The death occurred in 1 Wellington at about mid-day on Saturday ox Mr W. M. Hanaay, J.P., an old and respected resident of Wellington, at the age of 74 years. For some time past the late Mr Hannay had bees in indifferent health, and five weeks ago he underwent an operation, from which he recovered.
