Mr Robert Pollock was in Otaki yesterday making the advance arrange merits for the appearance here of the Old Mother Hubbard Pantomime Company on March 20th.
A London cablegram announces the death of Trumpeter Richardson, aged 01 years, the last survivor of the battle of Balaclava. He was operated on in 1920 on account of wounds received in the charge of the Light Brigade, and seven ' rragmenre oi eannister *hot were removed, •
