HORGWHENUA EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE.
The ordinary meeting of this branch was held at Otaki on Saturday last, under the presidency ol Mr G. W. Kirk, of Te Horo. Mr P. Mickle (Manakau). was deputed to collect data re anomalies in the grading list. The secretary ..was elected to represent the branch at the annual conference of Dominion teachers, to he. held in Wellington next May. A vote ol condolence was passed to Mr W. B. Smith (Otaki) and finally on their recent bereavement. It was decided to hold the annual meeting at Levin the last Saturday in April. _ - The Levin School Committee holds its monthly meeting .to-night.
