HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

AT OTAJCJ OI» THURSDAY. On Thursday next tlie- Horowhen.ua Horticultural and Industrial Society will hold tlo- annual autumn show in the tftaki ihoatre. The prize-schedule on the lines of former years provides a good field of competition in pot plants, cut. blooms, fruit, vegetables, farm produce, bouquet® and decorations, domestic and miscellaneous, and there is also a children V section for competitors under 15 years. The seAson, taken all round, has been a favourable one for growth of all kinds, and no excellent display of the fruits of the soj) should be staged. Attention is directed to the domestic section, which covers a wide field of cuJniary activity, and special prizes are provided for a spongesandwich competition for competitors under 16.
