WEDNESDAY’S ELECTION.
IYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. An election for three .representatives >n the Power Board to represent the Horowltenua County will take place on Wednesday next when ii is hoped all eligible to vote will exercise their rights. The matter is an important one, and first-class representatives are needed. There are five candidates seeking honours, viz., Messrs G. A. Monk, A. A. Brown, W. G. Adkin, All". Seifert, and 0. 1. Harkness. All are wellknown. but of the five it is fully expected that Messrs Monk, Brown ai .1 Adkin will top the poll. All are able men and capable of filling the position. Polling places for the County will be as follows:—County Office. Ervin: Perry’s Store, Tukomaru; Borough Council Olfice, shannon: Hall. Ihakaia; School, lvoputaroa; Institute, Olian; Hall. Manakau: Borough Council j Otaki; Jones’ Store. Te lloro; Lank premises. Waikanae; Mr Stevens’ House, Wnihoangu; Hut t County Cilices, Eambton Guay, Wellington. Polling hours. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
