GARDEN PARTY.

A garden party, in connection with the Methodist Church, was held at Te Horo on Wednesday, when fine weather prevailed, and the beautiful garden and lawn, with the lovely shady trees, were taken full advantage of. There was a fair attendance, including a few visitors from Otaki, and a most enjoyable time was spent. -There were various stalls, including plain and fancy and produce, under the capable charge of ladies, while the bran tub was an added attraction. Afternoon tea was also served and enjoyed. The ladies guild if well satisfied with the cash return, and are to be complimented on the excellent way members supervised all arrangements.
