PAEKAKARIKI WATER WORKS BY-LAWS. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of the powers conferred on it by “The Counties Act, 1920,’’ and the “Water Supply Act, 190 S, ’’ and its amendments and every and any other Act enabling it in that behalf th Council of the County of Hutt resolved at a special meeting held on the ISth day of January, 1922, to make a Special Order enacting by-laws for the Paekakariki Water Supply. The purport of the proposed by law is as follows: — The licensing of plumbers and the refusal or cancellation of li--1 censes and the fees payable Tm respect thereof „ The appointment of a Water Inspector and definition of his powers The conditions as to the size material and laying of service pipe;and the quality, strength, and posi tion of cisterns, taps, and othe: apparatus and the use of W'ater The prevention of waste The conditions for the supply oi water for extraordinary purposes, and for the supply of water to properties outside of the Special Rating area. Fixing the penalties for breach of by-laws. A copy of the proposed Special Ordei is deposited at the Office of the County of Hutt. 68 Lambton Quay, Wellington, and is open to inspection during office hours. And notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Council of the County of Hutt will be held at the offices of the Council, 68 Lambton Quay, Wei lington, on TUESDAY, the 14th dir. of February, 1922, at 10 o’clock a.m.. when the foregoing resolution will lx submitted for confirmation as a Special Order.
