SPORTING.
The Pahiatua Racing Club has made several improvements to the course since last annual meeting and arrangements are now well in hand for a successful gathering on Saturday. Convenient train arrangements have been made for conveying patrons and borses between Palmerston North, Dannevirke and Masterton. Good acceptances have been received for aU races, and a successful meeting is assured.
