BOWLING
Owing to Wednesday being Horowhenua A. and P. Society’s Show day the Levin bowlers failed to materialise, and therefore their match with Otaki was cancelled. There were, however, many local players present, and the following games were played:— O’Rourke beat Windley. 21—15. Williams beat Gooding, 25—12. Webster beat Freeman, 25—19. O’Rourke beat Brandon. IS—l7. Sutherley beat Olliver, IS—l6. The last two games were keenly contested, and all players showed some excellent play.
